How is everyone coping with Christmas? I find that I have to do a little bit each day or I wouldn't get it all done 🙄😏

In the New Year make a decision to look at your blood test results with a new 'eye' and make sure you are on an optimum dose, i.e. TSH of 1 or lower with FT3 and FT4 towards the upper part of the range.
If not, I'd look to sourcing some of my own thyroid hormones and add some to your present dose. Also make sure B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate are optimum too. Everything has to be optimal for our body to function normally.
I am fortunate that I have no clinical symptoms (it was all trial and error), so if members can increase levo, or have T3 added to it or be allowed to try alternatives it can lead to a normal lifestyle with relief of all clinical symptoms. After all that is what the doctors and endocrinologists fail to realise that:-
1. Patient has hypothyroidism which consists of clinical symptoms
2. All can be relieved when on the proper dose for the patient.
3. It is not one size fits all.
4. Some are perfectly fine on levothyroxine: some are more unwell and they shouldn't be forced to continue to take levo alone. They should be permitted a trial of T3 added to T4. T3 only: or NDT.
Maybe give your GP/Endo a copy of Dr Toft's article.
You can say to your physicians - that is what you've been trying to tell them for ages although not as succinct as Dr Toft. That you expected to recover your health but it isn't happening.
