Hi all just a quick one. Has anyone here been diagnosed with thyroiditus as opposed to hyperthyroidism? I know in the early stages it could mimic the latter. If so how was it diagnosed and what, if any, treatment did you have? How long did it last? Thank you

Thyroiditis just means 'sick' thyroid. Thyroiditis can be used to describe autoimmune hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. Have you had antibodies tested to confirm or rule out Graves Disease or Hashimoto's?
