Hi all
Having been diagnosed with Hasimotos in September (been under active for over 15 years), I see an endo privately due to gettibgvno where with a local GP.
My endo said I have CFS and I was referred to sleep clinic to see if that was part of the problem - result I have mild sleep apnoea avdcwas discharged.
I’m now seeing an immunologist next week - I have high antibodies and sometimes when I eat something I react as if I’m havibg a heart attack- my throat closes up, chest arm pain and I want to throw up!
Anyhow has anyone been to an immunologist and if so any advice. I was asked to do a food diary but have had no reactions since I’ve done it - this could be as my diet has changed since the hasimotos diagnosis .
I’m gluten free and lactose free and eat very little dairy . I was told to not eat bread at all, potatoes, bananas, grapes and melons !!! I believe to try and minimise my sugar intake (I’m not diabetic )
Any advice greatefully received
