I saw it on TV last night and how many Chinese parents had to lose their 'extra' child/children. At least their child was adopted by a caring family and that it was extremely emotional for both parents/adopted parents.

I didn't watch any tv last night, unlike me really.

Every single day for years those parents would wonder how their child was and was she being cared for lovingly. There must be many, many more parents in China who've had to undergo awful experiences.
