Serrapetase supplement

Hi.

Is it safe to take the above supplement when hypothyroid on 175mgs of Levo?

I've googled but can't find anything so wanted to check.

I don't have any links on the combination of thyroid + serrapeptase, I only have my experience of trying it.

I didn't have any effects in relation to my thyroid. The problem I had was that I have gut issues which cause me a lot of pain at the best of times. The serrapeptase made this much worse.

So if you have gastritis - be wary!

You would, of course, have to take the serrapeptase at least two hours away from your levo.

My experience was much the same as humanbean's, it upset my gut tremendously - and I don't even have gastritis! So, keep an eye on your symptoms.
