T3 in Turkey.

Hello, does anyone know the name for T3 in Turkey....either the Turkish for liothyronine or some brand names?

Pharmacies don't hold large stocks of Tiromel T3 so give 48-72 hours notice if you need a large stock ordered in.

Thank you very much for your replies. I live in Turkey, currently on T4 only which I can buy over the counter very cheaply. My husband has to go to the chemist tomorrow with our interpreter so I would like to ask how available and at what cost the T3 is.

Hi, my sister in law was there earlier this year and bought me 4 packets of t3 with 100 in each packet. The cost was £15. She did have to try a few chemists before she managed to get some and went back the next day for the rest. xx

Thanks v much. Wrote down the names in your link, went into a pharmacy in Fethiye today and bought 4 packs of 100 x 25mcg t4 tablets....cost.....2 euros per pack. No questions asked.

Tiromel is T3 (liothyronine) - you just said "T4" - hopefully a typo or I am misunderstanding!

I know this is an old thread but can you get 5mcg of T3 from Turkey. My endocrinologist wants me to try a combination of t4 and t3. I only seem to see 25mcg of t3 advertised from Turkey. Can you get 5mcg?
