finally got an appointment

I have badgered my GP for an appointment with an Endo for 15 years, I am unsure what tests the GP has ordered and what each one shows, I have had about 4 blood tests in the last 15 years all of which came back within the normal range, but the way I am compared to how I was pre Nodular goitre would make a lie of this. Basically all my GPs have dismissed my concerns and made me feel like a time waster, you can almost see the shutters coming down on their faces and the the light coming on saying get out of my office. I have no idea what to ask the Endo, I have had all the fight taken out of me so if anyone could suggest a reasonable item to ask and help me maintain my cool with the guy I am seeing. I have about 80% of the symptoms associated with thyroid problems but cannot seem to get a diagnosis. Please can anyone help.

Can you get a copy of your blood test results and post them here? People might be able to help you make sense of them before your appointment. Make sure you get lab ranges too. Ask GP reception for a print out. If in England, you are entitled to them.

Are you able to have tests done privately at home through Thyroid UK. I will post the link below. You will then have all the required testing which your GP will not do and people here can guide you to wellness. Possibly far better than seeing the Endo in most cases :-)
