Palpitation getting worse

Hello. I've been diagnosed with Graves for about 2 years now. Lately I've been having shortness of breath and chest pain. My doctor prescribed me 80mg of propranolol and vitamin q10 but my heart rate still going 90-100 BPM, so I add 40mg of propranolol. Has anyone experience something like this before?

I certainly had those symptoms when I was first diagnosed, but am still in my first course of treatment. Are you on a maintenance dose of antithyroids, or have you been managing without ?

Did he offer you a blood test ? If not, I would ask . It could be the Graves kicking off again (sorry !)

Hello Valarian , sorry for the late response.

Yes, my results just came back. I have a very low Tsh. I think the amount of stress lately has been affected my health and the Graves starts kicking the stress. Thank you though for replying to me. I know I'm not alone.

Beta blockers should help thats what i take.
