Hyper to hypo

Hi I’m new here, my name is Jenna and I have been hypo for about a year now due to an RAI treatment ( due to being hyperthyroid) four years ago; Crazy how long the rai took to work. I just recently started on T3 5 mg and can testify to say how much more of a difference it has made in my life. I am encouraged and hoping to feel even better! All this to say If you havent yet tried T3 there’s a good chance it could be helpful to you; maybe start with the smallest dose and work your way up.

JennaShi,

5mcg is a tiny dose. Are you taking Levothyroxine too?

Hi Clutter, thanks for asking. Yes I am taking 100mg of Levothyroxine. I hope to up the t3 to 10mg but need to wait until next appointment to review results. How anout yourself? Have you had good experiences with t3 and t4?

JennaShi,

I was good on T3 only, very unwell on T4 only, and prefer T4+T3.
