August 14 no white marks on my fingernails. Stomach pain gets very bad that week. I start treatment for h pylori on the 11th sept.
White marks on my nails lots of calcium deposits is what i have read. Up until the start of November. Got hair analysis test last week it says i jave extremely high calcium levels.
Wondering if there is correlation between high calcium in hair and nails and the stomach problems -low acid and antibiotic treatment. See a nutritional dr today going to mention the hair analysis teat to him. Ask what it might mean

The white spots on nail you notice are not caused by a calcium deficiency. These white spots in fingernails are called “leukonychia” and are very common. Most of the time the white spots simply are a sign of some past injury to the matrix (base) of your nails.

I suggest you check the hair mineral analysis by having a serum calcium test. If your GP won't check you can order blood tests via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
