Are you using T3 as a weight loss aid? That's not what it's for.
If you post your latest thyroid results, with FT4 and FT3 taken at the same time, members can suggest how to dose.
As a personal anecdote, I have been adding T3 to my Levo for 18 months and not lost weight, in fact I weigh more now than before I started it and my FT3 is in a very good place.
Thyroid meds are not for weight loss as you so very well said .They are not diet pills . Infect taking thyroid meds when not needed can cause more harm than good . Buyer be ware . Weight loss only works with eating healthy and cutting out junk foods . Exercises is helpful too . Sleep is very good for weight loss .
The most important thing when taking thyroid hormones is how 'we feel'.
Weight gain is the commonest question and I'll give a link. However, we have to gradually get to an optimum dose. It cannot be rushed in the hope that weight will magically disappear and you can undo any good work. Slow and sure is best.
