How to reduce t3?
I would reduce by 1/4 tablet at a time. Do you have a reason for reducing?
And for how many days shall I take that dose before reducing with another 6.25?
You may only need that one reduction as you are only .2 above range. Take note of your symptoms and if you think you should reduce by another 1/4 do so. If clinical symptoms are new you should increase again.

Thank you but wouldn't my true rating be higher in range since last dose t3 was taken 24 hours prior? I didn't know that you should only wait 12h. And how soon do you think I can reduce another 6.25? I just had a look on my note book and I was feeling better on 6.25 than 12.5 didn't realise until now...
I take T3 only when I get out of bed and one daily dose. Therefore my gap is 24 hours between dose and test and GP is happy, so there's no way I would/could wait 12 hours between taking T3 and test.
What is you ft3 level? Is really hard to know what to do. I only took 6.25 for 1 week and then increased and according to my notes I felt well for that week. I will have blood taken again in 4.5 weeks. If I take 6.25 and say after 2 weeks start to feel worse again and then increase to 12.5 will my test 2 weeks later be accurate?
T3 is quick-acting and is not like T4 (levo) i.e. one dose of T4 taken today and not taking any more, will gradually reduce over a number of weeks.
Blood tests are not as important as how we 'feel' on a particular dose with relief of all clinical symptoms. That's the main aim - free of symptoms. That would be he perfect dose regardless of test results.
