I Went through a messy rough patch when my daughter came home addicted to alcohol And Adderall.

Lost track of whether I had or had not taken my Levothyroxin.

Thyroid storm and your daughter's problems are two different issues. You may have felt awful mentally and physically but had acceptable thyroid hormone levels.

Another possibility is that being severely stressed may have substantially raised your cortisol. That has an effect on thyroid hormone levels because raised cortisol lowers TSH. And raised cortisol can make you feel over-medicated, sometimes quite severely - but the blood tests are unlikely to show you are over-medicated because high cortisol isn't, directly, a thyroid problem, although thyroid and adrenals do have a strong relationship.

Without results it is really impossible to say what you should do, sorry.

You don't get thyroid storm by skipping Levothyroxine doses. How long is it since you took your normal Levothyroxine dose?

My Primary care NP said I was in a thyroid storm, not me. Cut dosage in half...aaaauuugg
