Can increasing my Levothyroxine be the cause of my terrible mental problems? Or is it more likely because my TSH is 5.8? Everytime I increase I feel terrible but I also feel terrible without increasing ! Any help greatly appreciated...!

Levothyroxine increase
I think it's more likely to be your continued hypothyroid state. How much levo are you taking?
If you have trouble increasing, it could be because you have nutritional deficiencies. Ask your doctor to test vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin. They all need to be optimal for your body to be able to use thyroid hormone.
I am on 62.5 mg because I can't seem to get up to 75mg without getting v ill. My TSH is 5.8 I take vitamin B complex and vitamin D every morning haven't heard of the others though
Did you have your vit D and B12 tested before starting supplementing? Not a good idea to do it without knowing what your levels are, for all sorts of reasons.
Folate is a B vitamin, and ferritin is the protein that stores iron. Both need to be at least mid-range. I suggest you get the whole lot tested and just take what you need, in sufficient quantities, according to the results.
Thanks, yeh sounds like good advice no I haven't actually had them checked. The docs seem to think tsh 5.8 is barely hypo and that I should be fine ! As you can imagine getting tested for anything is a task and a half!
