Just received my latest results. This is after going into NDT. I'm on two grains of Thiroyd. I've been on NDT for roughly three months. I feel good, but my TSH has gone up from 11 to 18. I'm surprised as I feel pretty good. I was TSH 11 on 125mcg of levothyroxine. Is it fair to say I'm somewhat under medicated?

If you feel good that's great. I would not worry regarding your TSH reading.

There might be another reason that your TSH has risen. Have you tried raising

your dose it might help

Hi. I raised it this morning to

1¹/² grains. I always take another grain mid afternoon. I'll see how that goes.

Yes I think that's a good idea. I am now on 3 grains per day. Some days I feel tired especially in the head i.e. brain fog.

As you know I have no thyroid so it may be different for you.

It takes time to increase the dose and it can be very annoying trying to get it just right.

My only issue with Thiroyd is trying to sleep. I think I'll end up on 3 grains like you, but I'm not as unfortunate as you regarding your thyroid. That must be tough.

I'm 45. I'm becoming very fit and healthy. I'm a 6ft man (one of the few men) and since I've started medication I've lost one & half stone. I'm now under 12 stone. I'm happy with that. I really don't want to be any less.

Born in 1972 as I thought. 12 stone is about right for 6ft. I am so pleased that you are feeling better.

I am 5ft 8 inches tall and weigh 133 lbs so just right.

You may have to gradually increased your dose who knows.

One thing for sure, if you have no thyroid at least you know for sure that you need something.
