Anybody knows if it's common to first feel good and then worse again when you add T3 to your levo? Or is this just with levo? I had that on every increase of levo.

As far as I know, yes. It just means you need an increase in dose. :)

Yes like GG I think you need an increase in dose. When we are undermedicated we feel awful and bloods will say we need an increase. Increases are donr in 25's so at first we feel good but as a comparison with before but the 25 mat not be enough to get us optimal so there comes a point where we think it nots working anymore. It is working but only feels like it is if the dose was now optimal but it is struggling and is crying out for more! So more bloods will show that so it's important with any increase to get retested after 6 weeks, the time needed to get that dose fully in your body, and see what your bloods are telling you. If not still optimal you need another blood test every 6 weeks till thyoid optimum

This is the post I needed to see today. I feel like crap after having a few good weeks. I can't seem to add more T3. I had a panick attack Sunday morning and headaches when I try to add more.

Wolfiesmom08 I'm sorry your having a hard time with T3 . It can be a few reasons to that . One see if the fillers in the T3 are bothering you . It might just be that T3 is not for you but NDT is . NDT is made from porcine and can be a smoother delivery for you for your T3 . I personally did not do well with synthetic T3 it caused me surges . It can also mean that you might have adrenal insufficiency and the T3 you dosed with unmasked your problem . It can happen when patients are not dosed optimally with thyroid meds the adrenals pick up the slack causing adrenal insufficiency . Most Dr's don't know much about it . But patients that went and go through it can tell you . You can run adrenal tests through saliva . Adrenals need Vit"C" , B-5 . You need to rest and sleep at least eight to ten hours .You need to omit all sugars from your diet .If your having hard time to raise your T3 thyroid meds check your adrenal and DHEA levels .

Best wishes for a fast and successful resolutions .
