GP Referral to Endo

Does anyone know whether a GP who has already referred you to see an Endocrinologist would refer you again to one of your choice, that is within a short time. I doubt it myself but just thought I would ask on here as I'm scared to ask anything else of my GP.

You could ask for a second opinion.

The only way to find out is to ask your GP. If you are frightened of your GP you should find another. It can't be good trying to deal with someone who frightens you.

You are entitled to ask for a second opinion on NHS.

It's trickier if the Endo is not in your CCG area ......but not impossible.

I got a referral to a second endo - had to work very hard for it though, but it was worth it. If you'd like to know what I said/did please just ask.
