Puffy Eye

Hi everyone

Does anyone else have a puffy eye lid due to hypothyroidism?

Mine has been puffy for a number of years now

Mine went very puffy last year when I had a Hashi's flare up and the Levothyroxine stopped working. They are 'normal' now, apart from the usual creases, after taking NDT.

Doc wouldn’t refer me to eye clinic even when thyroid doc at hospital asked him to

I went to Opticians’s so they could look

I bought an eye heat pad and wipes from them as the puffyness in my case is due to fluid build. Maybe worth you looking into that too ?

Yes if I am under medicated my eyelids swell then the skin splits and my lids then start to weep.
