In Australia I was taking Oroxine. Pharmacist here says the brand not available. What is the equivalent as I took another brand initially in Australia (can't remember which one) and it didn't agree with me. Getting worried I won't be able to tolerate a different brand. They have offerred me Mercury Pharma or Teva.
Many thanks.

I have checked the list and it seems Actavis or Wockhardt are the closest with regard to the inactive ingredients in Oroxine. Obviously, the levothyroxine is fine but it's some of the inactive ingredients such as acacia etc which I can't tolerate. As a lady I love flowers but only in a vase not on my plate. Thank you again, Helvella.
In your position, I think I'd go for Actavis. Wockhardt is only available in 25 microgram tablets. Rumour has it that Actavis might be adding a 25 microgram tablet to their range but currently only do 50 and 100.
