Pregnenolone

I've been taking 10 mg of pregnenolone for adrenal problems. It definitely makes a difference. But I can't sleep AT ALL. And the insomnia lasts days even after I haven't taken a tablet. One website said that we shouldn't take more than 5mg a day and yet on this forum, some ladies are taking 200mg a day! Does anyone know whether I will level out, or does anyone else experience the 'wired' feeling?

Not sure rgds dosing but I do believe that when treating adrenals thyroid meds may need reducing as once adrenals kick in your body utilses the thyroid medication better so perhaps ?could be something to look at as too much thyroid medication can give you insomnia and tired but wired feelings...
