started slowly and now i have been on 2 grains a day for a week. . one morning, one evening. i am wondering how much i should be on. i have never taken thyroid meds before and can only find dosages of ndt when switching from levo. i am trying to go by how i feel. last week was fantastic as i was able to do things i hadn't managed in ages. However a couple of times i have relapsed back to sofa days when i overdid things. Ihave looked at side effects of titrating to quicky and havnt noticed anthing untowards.

There is no dose you 'should' be on. You take as much as you need. If you still have symptoms of hypo, try increasing by 1/4 grain, and see how you feel.

2 grains is a high dose to start on when you've never taken thyroid replacement. Please hold at 2 grains for 6 weeks and then order a thyroid test including FT3 to check that FT3 level remains within range. You can order thyroid tests via healthunlocked.com/thyroidu... Medicheck offer #ThyroidThursday discounts.
