Pre diabetic

Hi

Hope someone can help , my HbA1c level has been 41 for a while now , I know the cut of level,is over 42 dr said you could say I am pre diabetic, but during this week my BG has been in ranges from 6.0and upwards to 10.4 before and after meals or food does this mean I could be developing diabetic 11 , I also have a lee king heart valve, CKD stage 3 and thyroid thankful for anyone's help as don't get very far with gps

If you have thyroid issues and are not optimally medicated your blood sugar can be raised. Im in this situation myself with hba1c 42. I believe my issue is prob due to not being able to exercise (since thyroidectomy) as my diets not bad.

Do you have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism? You can eat low-carb diet.
