Hi Everyone,
Just to prove how utterly careless these doctors are at Hirslanden (where I go currently), they have my TSH level from when I was feeling relatively well, but not great, and it was 1.44. It has doubled but these knuckleheads don't stop and ask themselves, "Well, if she felt better at TSH 1.44, shouldn't we get her there or lower for her to feel great again?" But, no!
After writing a scathing email to my endocrinologist who said that it was my genes that are making me unable to lose weight, have acne suddenly and feel fatigue, and after I highlighted the many ways she messed up with that lack of doctoring she did, she responded as follows:
"Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear, that you still feel unwell and are not content with my work. Hope you find a different MD who can help you. "
In the email I highlighted not only that she was wrong, but why she was wrong, and backed it up with medical papers! Anyway. I am just venting, I guess. In 4 weeks I am self-medicating. I've had it with this circus!
I'm starting in 4 weeks because I need my Levo increased by at least another 25mcg as I am currently on 25mcg. I hope she increases it. If she doesn't then I have to find a place where I can get Levo without a prescription because my results are, let's say it all together, "Within the normal range!".
