It appears that the Almus levothyroxine products are now being supplied by Teva. In addition to what was posted here earlier, Almus' own site points out that their levothyroxine is lactose-free. That would appear to confirm the change.
I have just written a letter to Almus as below:
Are you able to confirm that Almus levothyroxine tablets are now supplied by Teva rather than Actavis (Accord)?
Can you tell me what actions you have taken to draw this change to the attention of doctors, pharmacists and patients?
Can you tell me what actions you have taken to ensure that we don't undergo an extended period in which two different formulations are available at the same time?
I assume you are aware of the MHRA report which clearly questions the bioequivalence of different levothyroxine products?

From the point of view of a patient who is unaware of the change in product, this is a de facto major formulation and manufacturing change.
I shall not hold my breath.
At least when Teva returned to the market, their product clearly showed "New formulation".
