Medichecks How soon results?

How soon did you get your thyroid test results (tsh, ft3 and ft4) back?

Usually 1 working day after they receive the sample. Last week I posted it Wednesday am, they received it friday and I got results monday morning.

I send guaranteed next day before 1pm. If I select Dr's comments at checkout it's usually the day after they received it (48 hours from sending)

I don't get Dr's comments anymore as I find the advice here more helpful so have been getting just the results back the same day the sample is received

Are the doctor's comments of any use? I think I will need to up my dose and it would be useful if they suggested that and I could bring it to the GP. Do they make that kind of comments?

In mine and my dads experience (Dr's comments from blue horizon once and medichecks twice) theyve only suggested changes when they've been out of range.

I suppose it depends how good or bad your gp is. But either way I'd post results here so people can provide clinical evidence to support you and show to your gp

You can always ignore their gp comments but once you cancel them you can't get them to comment after youve had the results. Probs best to get them for now so you can decide for yourself for future
