I have stated taking levo 50mcg, again, after posting my blood results on here and everyone advising i should. I am now feeling the symptoms i had last year and why i stopped taking Levo. I feel like i am hungover when i wake in the mornings i have a constant foggy head and minor headache, my whole body aches, my wrists, ankles, fingers feel swollen my face is puffy and i feel like i am walking through treacle. Not sure what to do, i have tried taking Levo at night, it makes no difference.

If you've tried all the makes of Levothyroxine, Mercury Pharma, Actavis (also known as Almus), Wockhardt and Teva, without improvement, ask your GP or endo to prescribe liquid Levothyroxine which may be more tolerable than tablets because it doesn't have the fillers tablets have.
Liothyronine (T3) can be prescribed instead of Levothyroxine if you are allergic to Levothyroxine or NDT can be prescribed on a named patient basis but health authorities are increasingly reluctant to prescribe either and, if so, you can buy them online without prescription.
