Hypo with Gastric problems.

This is what brought me to the doctors and my hypo diagnosis. Anyone else?

When hypo, it can cause low stomach acid and the discomfort can be quite bad. If we mention it to the GP they are apt to prescribe ant-acids which is the opposite to what we need for relief.

Many members take Digestive enzymes with a meal (this provides the acid necessary to dissolve protein). Also you can use a good Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with juice or water (only use several teaspoons as it is quite strong (some take a tablespoon but I found that too much).

Because we are hypo (slow) everything slows down, digestion, heartbeat, pulse until we slowly increase levothyroxine.

I do have high stomach acid not low. My probably is major gas and reflux that got worse.

Yes.. That test was negative.
