Teva bought Actavis's generics division so it owns Actavis Levothyroxine. As they own it I suppose they could change it but why would they?

Now owned by Intas and to be called Accord.
Of course, that might have changed again by now.
There's no keeping up with all this buying and selling.
So does that mean my box of actavis made in barnstable is no longer actavis and not made there at all..?

Any significant change to a licensed medicine requires that license be reviewed. That is what Teva did not do back in 2013 - they substituted an ingredient (one form of dextrin for another). That, and the problems that ensued, is why a license was withdrawn.
So, changes are possible, but not willy-nilly at the drop of a hat.
