Would that make it possible for them to change the actavis levothyroxine?

Emits,

Teva bought Actavis's generics division so it owns Actavis Levothyroxine. As they own it I suppose they could change it but why would they?

Not any more!

Now owned by Intas and to be called Accord.

Of course, that might have changed again by now.

There's no keeping up with all this buying and selling.

Certainly isn't easy keeping up when News Feed fails again. :-/

So does that mean my box of actavis made in barnstable is no longer actavis and not made there at all..?

The Barnstaple factory is held up as a modern facility of great value. I don't think there is any likelihood of it being made elsewhere - at least in the foreseeable future.

The branding could well change. Have no idea about that.

Ok, Thanks!

I can't tolerate Teva so was worried that they would make them one and the same.

Any significant change to a licensed medicine requires that license be reviewed. That is what Teva did not do back in 2013 - they substituted an ingredient (one form of dextrin for another). That, and the problems that ensued, is why a license was withdrawn.

So, changes are possible, but not willy-nilly at the drop of a hat.
