Having my op tomorrow

Hi all . I am having 2/3 of the thyroid removed tomorrow due to a nodule that has come back inconclusive (4.5cm in size) . Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I had a partial thyroidectomy in 2003 (i had a goiter the size of a golf ball), the op was fine and I didn't need meds because my thyroid was normal, was back to work after 3 weeks. Goiter was benign. I was 41yrs old and recovered quickly.
