Do you need to fast before a ft3 blood test?

It arrived already. I ordered it at 5pm yesterday and has come at one today normal post!!!! How good is that!

I've had a light elevenses, have I to fast overnight before doing it?

Jeppy,

If you are only checking FT3 there's no need to fast. If you are testing TSH too you should fast and do the blood test early in the morning.
