Is this the correct result and test I've had done to see if it's rt3 that is blocking my cells so the active t3 can't get in to do its job,or do I need a different rt3, test,I didn't know there was 2 tests...thank you.xi know years ago you had to do some maths and ratio stuff which was way over my head,so I was pleased this came like it did ,all done for me,but if it's the wrong test it's useless information for me.x😢
Reverse T3: Is this the correct result and test I... - Thyroid UK
Reverse T3
Tanyaking I still can't see the numbers on my main PC, they are very small and feint. What are the figures for the range and your result?
Going by the fact that you look to be about one third of the way into the green zone, I don't think you have a problem. I only know the BH range is 10-24 and it's better not to be at the very top, over range means rT3 is a problem, so I would assume it's the same with Genova. If you were in the right hand red zone I imagine that's over range and you'd have high rT3.
I don't know how useful this test is but you seem to fall somewhere in the low/middle. 0.26 in a range of 0.14 to 0.54. Some experts put a lot more emphasis on reverse than other testing so I would say yours looks good.
I don't think you need to worry about RT3 and I give a link below and go to the date March 24, 1999.
