S5355 If you post the results members will be able to comment. Also, what dose of thyroid medication are you on?
Sorry, do you mean that your level of Free T3 is over the reference range?
Or are you treating yourself with T3?
Or did you ask for T3 to be tested and/or added to your Levo?
Are you being treated for anything?
Do you have any recent blood test results on the subject of your thyroid or nutrients?
T3, the treatment, is not toxic - that is just a bunch of scare-mongering that doctors get told and pass on to patients like fairy stories. Like any hormone treatment or hormone level in the body, if it is at the right levels it isn't toxic.

I do not know why Professionals try to frighten the life out of patients who are expecting to have help with improving and eradicating their clinical symptoms.
You need to get a print-out of your results, with the ranges and post for comments.
Did you have the test at the very earliest possible, fasting (you can drink water) and did you allow 24 hours gap approx between the last dose of levothyroxine and the test. If you took it before the test your results will have been skewed.
My last blood test showed drop in TSH to 0.05(0.15-3.5) but no significant change in my fT4. My GP went ballistic saying that I must lower my Thyroxine because I have now changed to hyperthyroid just because of the drop below the dreaded lower level of TSH. On the other hand, when my fT4 dropped to 8.2 (7.86-14.41) she wasn't in a hurry to up my dose of Thyroxine. She said my result was within 'normal range' and so I couldn't have medication. I don't have trust in doctors anymore, better advice from private blood testing and on this forum xx
If you are having no symptoms of over active thyroid then tell the doctor that us3 the broken record method if need be. Just keep repeating you have NO hyperthyroid symptoms till the doctor backs down.
