Total Thyroidectomy would like to try T3

Good afternoon all,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I had a TT around 4 years ago and have been on Levothyroxine with my dose varying from 175mcg to 225mcg. Ever since I had the TT I've always felt tired and suffered from severe lethargy to the point that I now would like to try the T3 route.

I've booked in to see my GP in a months time and will be asking for a GP referral to see an Endo, hoping that on review of my bloods they will write me a script for T3.

I understand that getting a private script can be quite costly and sourcing abroad is a cheaper alternative? Can anyone point me in the direction, via PM, to a verified T3 source, please?

A private script will cost £258+ for 28 x 20mcg T3. Much cheaper to buy Turkish, Greek or Mexican T3.

Thyroidless patients reliant on peripheral conversion only don't always do well on Levothyroxine only. If your FT3 is low you will benefit by adding some T3 to Levothyroxine.
