Amazing that an organ as naturally robust as the liver should need to be changed in the way it works. It really is just power crazy Profs and the like playing with people's lives - we're all just guinea pigs whilst they search out another new way to make more money out of the NHS!

I suspect they found something fairly nasty to stop such a large trial less than halfway through.

Absolutely, and 2 trials at that, with slightly higher mortality rates with the miracle drugs! But yet still claim success?!

I can't understand how they can be like "Ohhh let's just alter the function of some organ, that must be good, mustn't it? Hey guys I think this is awesome idea. It can't go wrong! "

Nor am I ! Your doctor should be getting you on to your optimum dose and your cholesterol will come down naturally.
