I had been taking a probiotic called Bioculture. Been taking it for about two months. Now suddenly getting digestive upsets. Gurgling bit of heartburn and cramp in stomachs. Any thoughts?

If you have sibo taking probiotics could be like throwing gas into a fire. So you might have overgrowth of bacteria in small intestine where it shouldn't be.

Skip probiotics for a week or two and see how it affects.

I would suggest stopping it for a while. I was taking one that didn't agree with me. I now eat a live organic plain yoghurt 4 or 5 times a week. Guts now good.

Thanks for your replies. I have left it off for couple of days. Seems a little bit better.
