angelofthenorth and humanbean Loading large threads in the messages section should now be faster. Give it a try and let me know.
Hopefully, the bouncing posts on the screen some of you experienced over the weekend has also been fixed.

Woohoo! It works now! Fingers crossed it stays that way.
It worked before for a day then stopped. Now OK, but I won't hold my breath. If they got rid of the speech bubbles and just used a threaded view, it would probably work even better. But it has to look like a phone ...
Angel_of_the-North,
HU insist people prefer the new version to the threaded version. Must say I've only seen complaints about the new version on here and on the admin forum.
What I hate is that I can never create a new message thread for someone I've already sent a PM to. So for people I message frequently the thread can get tremendously long. I'd like to be able to start afresh occasionally without having to delete the old thread. But I don't know of a way of doing that.
HB,
That has been a major complaint of community admins. In the one message stream there could be a moderation message telling someone off for bad behaviour and then a message of congratulations or commiserations for something. Most of us think they should be entirely separate messages.
Other members have found it difficult to load very long messages to their phones. HU have interpreted that as they're taking too long to load and speeded them up. That's why PMs went topsy turvy at the weekend.
