Joannagof,
It can take months for the TSH of hyperthyroid patients to recover and sometimes it doesn't recover and remains suppressed or low.
Low TSH alone does not indicate over medication and your doctor should not reduce dose based on TSH only. If you are over medicated your FT4 and/or FT3 will be over range. I very much doubt a patient with no thyroid will be over medicated on 100mcg.
You can be fine with low tsh. How low? Mine has been 0.02 for about 15 years. Am fine. Dont let the doc medicate by the tsh..... Just go by the free t4 and free t3 levels.
she said 0.104 thanks
TSH is irrelevant at lowest points. DO NOT let your doctor reduce your dose based on blood tests alone, ask for a full physical examination first. NEVER let your doctor mess with your meds! Use any method you can to stop any reductions, go by how you FEEL not numbers.
