I'm new here
Hi tatmed, welcome to Thyroid UK's forum, how are you feeling?
Diagnosed in 2012. Two months ago added Liothyronin (Greece). Now feel much better. Hope it will help.
I hope so too, I suggest you have a read of some posts. The members here have a lot of knowledge as you will see. If people have problems/symptoms or are unsure if they are taking the correct dose of medication they post their blood test results here with the ranges in brackets.
People can also advise on supplements too if you have low levels in B12, Vitamin D, Ferritin and Folate. Hypothyroidism tends to leave us deficient through poor absorption, and we need the levels optimal for the thyroid medication to work. You may know all this already, but I certainly didn't when I first logged in so I'm just saying, pleased to meet you, the forum is very helpful, a life saver in fact
Your experiences of another health regime could be very interesting.
Is Liothyronine not available in Sankt-Petersburg?
They stopped producing T3 in 2012. The ends prescribe only T4. I'm not sure I have the right to write everything here, I'm just studying what the others are speaking about. I do not want to be thrown away.
Not good.
If someone needs T3, as in myxoedema coma or during cancer treatment, what do they do? Is some imported for these special purposes?
