Folate levels

Hello. Just can someone inform of the best tablet to supplement folate levels, got a bit mixed up and need advice.

I was prescribed 5mcg folic acid to correct folate deficiency. You can buy 400mcg and 500mcg folic acid over the counter. If folic acid doesn't suit try methylfolate.

If you are deficient I would supplement for up to 3 months and then retest.
