If you live in the UK then the only way you can get Levo is by getting a prescription from a doctor. It can't be bought without one - it's illegal to buy or sell it.

However, you can buy it abroad without a prescription. You would have to ask for links to reputable sites on the web to be sent to you via private message.

Yes, I can see you have asked for info by Inbox but the heading is a bit misleading as it asks a question 'Buy levothyroxine in U.K.? Maybe take out the UK so you get the proper responses

True, but being underdosed also has a detrimental effect. Sadly, doctors are most likely to under-dose, leaving patients feeling permanently unwell and vulnerable to all sorts of health problems that wouldn't occur with optimal treatment.

Now amended. I was on 100 mcg had symptoms but did feel better but Endo reduced it to 75 in June and my fatigue is horrendous and I'm getting no where fast with my rheumatologist. I only intend to increase it by 10mcg and see how I feel

It really concerns me how so many people on this site are sel-medicating.

The general tone is that doctors are wilfully mistreating.

Sadly even with the very best treatment thyroid pathology can continue to leave the person feeling unwell.

It would only be a very small increase so couldn't overdose and from a reputable supplier hence why I asked on here. I'm not going down the NDT route as levo I think is helping I just felt better on a slightly higher dose and I would only use drugs from a reliable source.

levo is free with my insurance. Very different if you are paying for it. Why did your doc lower your amount? Just based on blood test and not what you were saying? Thats not good

I would have helped but my supplier sent an email this morning saying they had to close their website down 😢 not sure what I'm going to do I've only been on t3 therapy just over a month and I've slowly been getting better. Good luck iI finding affordable t3.

Hello MissFG,,,,,levo is a POM and therefore cannot be bought over the counter,,anywhere in ther UK,,,,,this drug should not be upped without consultation with the gp or an endo specialist,,,and to see if you feel better is not something to be tried off hand,,,,,investigate mineral supplements to give your body some overall support,,,,ttfn from Karen.

If you can't buy the Levo you want why not buy a pill cutter and dissect your 100mg tablet. You'll get 25mg more at least which still isn't a huge raise. Just a suggestion!!

I don't have any spare levo to do this I only take 75mcg Daily so don't have any extra to take
