Well mainly dairy and gluten but everything in moderation.... Then after a while I could reintroduce dairy but small amounts...
It's very complex as your dealing with temperature and certain foods that have varying temperate natures along with the combinations! Its all in the yin yang qi balance!
Its pretty sophisticated.Initially, you will start with warming foods, beef, lamb, venison, etc. You eat based on the seasons. As hypo thyroid patients tend have a lot of cold and dampness you eat foods that warm you up,boost circulation, help your heart spleen, kidneys. lungs, gallbladder, nervous and digestive system, liver.
Most thyroid patients route causes are the kidneys: Kidneys are your life line! incorporate foods that support kidneys.
The body has interesting way of telling u what it likes and dislikes. so it varies
I ended up going flexitarian...
eat less meat more veg and fruit
Ive been pescatarian one week, vegan the next, omnivore the following week and carnivore the following week....literally! The body will tell u exactly what it needs! and what it doesn't need!
Those hypo symptoms are your bodies saying Im lacking something, Im lacking something to unblock the energy!
Do you mean honey, pepper and vanilla all together or as separate drinks? Banana tea sounds interesting too. Not had alcohol for years - one gulp would probably have me staggering around!
Very interesting post, i just recently find out that my iron level is 4.3( 6.6-25), TIBC 65, transferin saturation 7% only, ferritin 34, don't know normal range. Hemoglobin fine, have typical iron deficiency symptoms. Maybe is there any point that my body doesn't hold iron?
ufff! I completey give up on all these lab tests! It stresses you out!
Eat lots of beef, lamb, chicken, mangetout, oysters, leafy green vegetables. steam cooked meat and vegetables. peas carrots, pumpkin, animal livers, nuts and seeds.
5 to 8 meals a day
keep potatoes and rice separate from meat and veg.
1 to 2 hours apart.
after each meal go for a walk in the woods, feed the birds, switch off from it all
Yes it is. Doctor telling me that i am fine, because hemoglobin is fine, but i feell orible, they tell my that i don't need iron tablets, till my feritin normal in the range, it's not enough when iron serum is 4.3, to start on iron tablets, been told to eat more healthy.
Hi flashinthepan could I just ask how you got the diagnosis removed from your records? After a dispute with my GP I got munchausens by proxy added to mine and as I've never actually seen a psychiatrist or anyone about this to be diagnosed it's vital I get this and quite a lot of other defaming entries off my records but unsure the best way to do it?
I take a different alternative approach rather than focusing too heavy on research papers, scientific garble, etc. I take a leaf from the Thai's: keep a clear conscious: dont let any negative, exhausting, draining circumstances and thoughts enter your head! The more you you exhaust, tire yourself out chasing something thats not there, the more it affects your spleen and mind, etc.
I have been there, I don't know how many times I have been miffed off trying too seek answers, trawling through the internet,etc,etc....sigh!
Granted, Knowledge is power:Try not to stress too much, I have a habit of cutting corners I take it from my father and his family and I just focus on alternative medicine, alternative entertainment and lesuire, cutting out all the rubbish from my life, etc. Focus on healing thy self and improving wellbeing! When you improve wellbeing, everything heals or improves much better
