HI I'm a 49 year old and have had a persistent post nasal drip and coughing fits for over 10 years. It feels as if I have a pin in my throat and a lump that isn't painful but makes it difficult to swallow. My Dr has no idea what is wrong so I'm reaching out for some help!

Sounds like it could be a swollen thyroid gland. Has your doctor tested your thyroid levels? TSH, FT4, FT3, TPOab. Unfortunately, doctors have no idea about the symptoms of low thyroid.
