Hashimotos with symptoms of hyper?

has anyone on here who has Hashimotos ever experienced symptoms of being hyperthyroid too?

Which symptoms exactly? A lot of symptoms are applicable to both hyper and hypo, stuff like palpitations, breathlessness, not sleeping....

Being hyperthyroid is a nightmare, you will know if you are.... I got so impatient i couldnt stand to wait for people to even finish their sentances w hen talking.

My symptoms were hyper and GP suspected Graves as mother and sister had it but it turned out I was euthyroid Hashimoto's. After a few months symptoms swung between hyper and hypo.

In the early days of Hashimoto's lymphocytes infiltrate the thyroid gland killing off cells which dump hormone into the blood causing transient thyrotoxicosis. After a while the thyroid atrophies and is unable to produce sufficient hormone causing hypothyroidism.
