Hi my name is Sara Juarez and been diagnose as being hyper, but wait I g on the Specialist to get results. Hospital Doctors told me it was hashimoto, but Specialist wants to make sure I don't have graves. I've read some of y'alls post and really feel for you all. Hi Sara,

Hashis can cause hyperthyroidism which usually leads later to hypothyroidism as the gland tissue becomes less functional. Im a graves girl myself, but i refused surgery/rai and listened to what elaine moore had to tell us.

I hope you get well soon and find all the info you want, theres enough info on here for a lifetimes reading!

Thank you deesbees ! Doctor called today and said its low right now and that's what she wanted, now she wants me to continue taking the Methimazole 10 mg so that it could go up. I'm new to this. Wondering how the med is gonna bring it back up if I thought it was to level my thyroid. My TSH came out 0.01uIU/ml

Hi Sandy! Doctor called today for results and told me its low now...I asked her what I had? She said it was hashimoto and graves but that the medicine Methimazole 10 mg brought it low and will prescribe mo more of Methimazole to see if it will bring my low levels up which are TSH 0.01 uIU/ml
