Tiredness weight gain irritable
Welcome to our forum Annybill,
There is no information on your Profile about your illness. Do You have hypothyroidism, thyroid antibodies, or hyperthyroidism?
Have you been diagnosed and have you been prescribed thyroid hormones (and dose)?
When you get a fasting blood test for thyroid hormones it should be at the very earliest available and allow about 24 hours gap between your last dose and the test and take it afterwards. This allows the TSH to be at its highest.
Hi I've only just made an appointment to see the doctor and will ask for my bloods to be taken and checked for my thyroid and anything else that may explain why or what may be causing me to feel the wat I am .
Thank you for your reply

Also ask for thyroid antibodies to be checked. If high you would have an Autoimmune Thyroid Disease called Hashimotos.
Thank you its nice to get as much information as u can .
You have to speak with your doctor.. I had same sympthoms but diet and excersise helped me alot alredy! But i was still mentally bad.
I advise you to quit smoking aswell if you do that, eat less processed sugar. Add more fruits and healthy oils to your diet and split your daily food intake to atleast 5 meals so it will help increase the speed of your metabolism.
If you do work on morning times, eat carbohydrates before bed - i suggest you buckwheat
3g carbs per kg
2g proteins per kg
1g fat per kg
Also add multivitamins and minerals along with vit C to your diet. Im taking 4 grams of vit C every day split during day.
If you got any questions about dieting go on- priv msg me
Ps. I dont know how people can eat dirty food, drinking only coke and still feeling
Thanks Heracles I eat healthily don't do processed foods go on my gym at least three tunes a week I walk everywhere power walking too and drinking a vitamin drink each day .
What's in the vitamin drink? You know that a lot of them are just a scam.
If you do have low thyroid, you are making yourself worse by going to the gym and power walking. Just gentle walking, to stop you rusting up.
If I were you, I would get my vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin tested. If your iron is low, for example, that will make you very tired.
Will do and I'm taking all this information as I'll try anything to get me back in track
If you're going to the gym a lot your lower back pain might be caused by incorrect use of core muscles. You should have around 40% load in abs, PC (wee) muscles and gluts at all time even when not doing abs or glut exercise. You should be practising this on your walks. It's really easy to create a bad pattern where your lower back muscles or gluts get involved/ turned on all the time so the next time you do a core related exercise (e.g a sit up) remember it's not actually getting all the way/ full range that's important; it is more an isolation of your core muscles and using the right ones for as much of the movement you can do before other muscles take over. If your abs can only lift you 2 inches off the ground, then so be it.
Might seem boring to you now, but aim to do 1-2 times yoga or pilates a week for strength and suppleness. If you do yoga, is very important not just do dynamic or flow but some slow sessions to really pin down on body mechanics as well. In pilates sessions you need to concentrate on how your muscles interact with each other and listen to the instructor on which muscles you should be working. Make sure it is just those muscles you work.
Most of clients never complain about lower back pain even when it's pretty tight so when people start complaining, I know that area is really bad already. 80% is to do with not stretching and strengthening the core and the body creating bad biomechanical patterns. Preexisting conditions can have an effect (eg. People who have really bad period pains) but as a young person (I assume you're still pretty young since you mentioned school) you shouldn't have persistent back pain.
Anecdote for you- my mum actually used to cane it at the gym for 2-3 hours 5 times a week. Now she does 1-2 hours of yoga 5 times a week and even though arguably her metabolic rate is slower 15 years later she is stronger, leaner and just as fit as when she went to the gym. It's all about how you work your body effectively and completely and finding the right exercise/ diet for your optimal health!
PS. Don't eat lots of fruit. They're hyper sugary. It's much better for you to eat 4 potions of vegetables and only 1 portion of fruit a day. Preferably berries which are relatively low in sugars.
Thank you vixvixvix I eat fresh veggies everyday and I love fruit have a banana with my porridge each morning don't eat sugary foods as I don't have a sweet tooth don't smoke but school runs are to take grandchildren .lhave my own pilates / strength building piece of equip which I use when needed .but have taken on board your comments thank you ..
