Trouble getting 50mcg Mercury Pharma Levothyroxine

I am having difficulty getting my prescription of 50mcg Mercury Pharma Levo the asda pharmacy are trying to track me some down. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? I'm on 75mcg and I'm having to take three 25mcg and don't feel as good doing that.

Ring round different chemists

Thank you Jefner the asda pharmacy are going to ring me on monday to let me know if they have had success in getting them for me if not think I will be phoning round . Hope you are ok x

You don't have to use Asda. Just phone round different chemists. My script goes over electronically to my chemist who delivers mine

Others have posted of difficulty in getting the 25mcg from Mercury.

Mine goes over electronically too so I didn't have the choice to take it anywhere else when they said they were having trouble getting the 50mcg

They got the 25 mcg ok but hope that won't go in short supply too.

My Pharmacist says Mercury taken over and now under a different name. She is chasing it up for me so will keep you posted. I've had to go onto Actavis until this is sorted xx

No, I'm not and I get mine from Superdrug. Have you checked your prescription? If it doesn't say Mercury Pharma then your pharmacist can give you the cheapest available Levothyroxine they have in stock without telling you. I lot is to do with costs.

My doctor marks my prescription for the Mercury Pharma brand after Actavis didn't seem to suit me very well I found I had a lot of symptoms back.
