I was just reading about this product and wondered if anyone had tried it. It is supposed to be supplement to support thyroid medication.

Lucy1000,

If you are taking sufficient thyroid medication you shouldn't need a thyroid supplement. Thyroid supplements may help people who don't have thyroid prescriptions but aren't likely to benefit those on NDT, Levothyroxine or T3.

It's mainly iodine, in the strange believe that shoving in more raw materials is going increase production - even if you aren't short of raw materials!

You don't want extra iodine. You are already getting a far amount in your thyroid hormone replacement. Too much is not a good thing.

The rest of the ingredients are just wishful thinking, I believe. Never even heard of some of them. Save your money, and get the supplements you know you need. Have you been tested for vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin? If not, best to do so. They all need to be optimal, not just 'in range'. :)

Not what you're looking for?
