I'm currently on carbimazole whilst o decide if I want RAI or surgery but my eyes are bothering me. They feel swollen and my eyelids feel thick (sorry tricky to describe) they are a bit itchy and I keep having blurring which I have to blink several times to clear. I've no experience of TED so wondered if others coyld share their first symptoms please. Thanks

Samspam,
It may be. I would see an optician and ask their opinion. If you have TED it may be better to have a thyroidectomy as RAI can make it worse.
