What right do I have to feel low, when there are so many people worse off than me??

Broken and restless sleep

Pain

Anxiety ++++

Blurred and double vision

Dragging my body constantly

Hissing noises

Guilt for moaning

If we are unwell, it is a natural phenomenon to complain and be given some sympathy.

Someone listening might get fed up and wonder why when we are on hormone replacements we still feel rough and awful but because the hormones have such a fine line between 'awful' and 'well' the clinical symptoms inform us we need more hormones. It's not when the doctor pronounces 'fine' 'normal' etc. which only refers to the whereabouts of the results not how the patient is feeling.

I think you need new blood tests and if you have a copy of the most recent ones, with the ranges, post on a new question.

You have every right. You are ill. You are not claiming to be the person the worst off in the whole world, are you? That would be wrong. But you don't feel good, so a bit of a moan is normal. Remember what Anne Franck said - and goodness knows she was in a bad enough position - she more or less said : they tell me others are worse off then me, and I say so what!

I don't think it makes us feel any better to know that others are worse off than us. If we feel ill, we feel ill. And it certainly doesn't make those others feel any better if we stop complaining. So, I think the occasional rant is well in order! lol

Thank you.

Blood results next week and hopefully then they will put me on medication as the doctors say the are expecting it to be significant higher than just slightly raised. My last bloods were 3 months ago. 3 different doctors said 3 different months for testing so I've gone for the middle month (confused me more that did) I've had to stop taking my 6000 iu vit d as it was in soy oil. So at present I'm on nothing and I've just about had enough! I needed to rant so thank you for your replies. It's a comfort to know that just someone's text can make you feel not alone x
