I've had a dexamethasone suppression test recently, to check for Cushing's. I don't have many of the signs, but do have central obesity.
I didn't get much sleep on the night of the test, and felt a bit jittery on the day. I would've thought that if my cortisol was being suppressed I would be sleepier?
Noticeable over the last few days has been quite an increase in my waist measurement
Awaiting results...

I'm sorry you're having a est to look for Cushing's. I've got/had Cushing's so know a bit about it. People have different reactions to the Dex test, I don't remember mine having much impact on me but I didn't suppress. I don't know if you are on FB but there are a few Cushing's groups on there, the main ones are American where there system of testing is different from ours, as are there reference ranges for tests. There is a UK group which was only started less than a week a go & already has 70+ members! If you search for Cushing's Uk it should come up in the list.
